Super Busy July!
It has been a whirlwind of a month so far. The whole month started with a cozy Fourth of July party. Then there was Ho’Ike – hula sharing event by a halau I belong to for the last three years. I danced with the intermediate class this year with more challenging choreography. It was a huge success and my heart is still full from all the love I received from my hula sisters. Then, my second born turned 13! She requested a beach party so we spent the whole day at the beach with her friends in a perfect hot summer day by the Lake Washington. The second to last thing on the list is Seattle Art Fair 2026!! (Right after that, we will go on a week long camping trip…) This will be my second year participating in the Seattle Art Fair happening July 23 to 26, 2026. https://shiftgallery.org/2026/seattle-art-fair-2026-booth-b01/ I will be at Booth B01 Shift Gallery. I have been a member of this cooperative artist run gallery and the experience has been eye opening and exciting to say the least. Simultaneously, you can visit the Shift Gallery in the Pioneer Square neighborhood. A group show called “Sharing Space” is currently on view. https://shiftgallery.org/2026/shift-artists-and-friends-sharing-space/ I have a sculpture and a drawing/collage piece in the show. One more exciting venue, brand new to Seattle is called “Coliseum of Art.” My lit installation pieces “Muddy Pond of Earthly Desires” are exhibited through Sept 6 2026. https://publicdisplay.art/foundation/coliseum-of-art/show I hope to see you around town. And/or, you can browse my art on my web shop that is finally open after a long hiatus!
